Pro-nuclear and environmentalist author James Lovelock, whose own best-selling book The Revenge of Gaia (Basic Books), recently arrived in U.S. bookstores, was interviewed about his book in May by StockInterview. Lovelock wrote in his foreword of the new uranium mining book, “Investing in the Great Uranium Bull Market from the editors of StockInterview.com provides a readable and first rate account of the sources, the mining and the processing of nuclear fuel and it is a wonderful antidote to the torrent of misinformation from the well intentioned but scientifically illiterate. Much more, it is an accurate and reliable source of information on all aspects of nuclear energy from the mining of uranium to the new generation of reactors.” Others who previewed advance copies of Investing in the Great Uranium Bull Market also had positive comments. Gene Clark, CEO of TradeTech LLC (whose firm calculates weekly changes in the spot uranium price, and was the first to announce the new uranium spot price record of $52/pound), wrote, “My general impression is that this will be THE definitive piece on the uranium industry for many years into the future. It was a great book.” Author Julian Steyn, who heads DC-based Energy Resources International, wrote, “I think it will be very helpful for those wishing to have a better understanding of uranium supply without getting lost in technical details and jargon.” |

Numerous experts contributed essays and articles to this publication. Gene Clark wrote about uranium enrichment in Chapter 2, and contributed an extensive argument for a Post-2015 bull market for uranium in Chapter 6. In Chapter 5, Julian Steyn outlined why Kazakhstan must be taken seriously and recommended UrAsia and Cameco for their plans in the Central Asian country. FNArena editor Rudi Filapek-Vandyck contributed an essay on Australian mining in Chapter 5, as did Forum Uranium’s Dr. Boen Tan, who wrote about Athabasca Basin geology in this chapter. Sprott Asset Management’s Kevin Bambrough and Jean-Francois Tardif contributed the lion’s share of Chapter 8 – “How to Choose a Uranium Stock.” Jeff Combs, president of Ux Consulting, and Gene Clark, Chief Executive of TradeTech LLC, explained how the spot uranium price is calculated and helped describe the future uranium supply situation. In Chapter 6, commodities guru Jim Rogers offered his insights into the commodities bull market, including the rising uranium price. Numerous geological and engineering experts provided their technical expertise to this publication, including UR-Energy’s Bill Boberg, Harry Anthony, Doug Norris, Energy Metals Corp’s Dennis Stover and Bill Sheriff, Uranerz Energy’s Glenn Catchpole, Cameco’s Patrick Drummond, retired geologist Charles Don Snow, Wyoming Geological Survey geologist Ray Harris, Michael Hudson of Mawson Resources, Jon North of Northwestern Mineral Ventures, Graham Greenway of Snowden Mining and Strathmore Minerals geologists, David Miller and Terrence Osier. |
